Voluntary Work
I have recently started to take on a small amount of voluntary work through the organisation of IT4Communities, a not for profit organisation with the remit of introducing volunteer IT professionals to charities in need of IT resources.
By taking on this work I hope to provide a useful service to charities who might not otherwise be able to afford to pay for professional services but I also aim to improve my skills and experience at the same time.
I am currently working to develop a new Plone based CMS for the Oxfordshire Befriending Network, a charity based in Oxford which provides befriending, advocacy and counselling services to people with life threatening illnesses and terminal diagnosis.
